Eron Harris is expected to start in Denzel Valentine’s place for the Michigan State basketball team.
Just when everything was clicking on all cylinders for MSU’s mens basketball team, we get some bad news like this. I hope this isn’t the start of injuries hitting the team like it did in 2013 that hampered the Spartans and likely was a factor in the team not getting to the Final Four. Valentine is the team’s best and most important player. The good thing if you can say that, is the timing of this injury is that it’s early in the season and not a serious injury that end his season. This means that others will have to step up.
This gives Eron Harris a chance to really play into the comfort zone that he needs to help the team continue their quest to a national championship. Freshman Matt McQuaid may also benefit with more playing time as well.
