Detroit lost its sixth straight after a bullpen meltdown in the eighth ruined Justin Verlander’s best start of the year. I would say to Tiger fans who were optimistic going into the season regarding the team’s playoff chances, that the season is young and there is a lot of baseball to be played. However, even though the season is young, Brad Ausmus must have concerns because he is on the hot seat.
